Question 1

What is the best alternative to Infracost for Terraform cost estimation?

Accepted Answer

Terracotta AI includes cost estimation plus eleven other PR checks (drift, security, guardrails, blast radius, AI code review) for $49/seat/month. For teams that want cost as part of a CI/CD platform, Spacelift and env0 integrate Infracost as a policy input. If you only need cost and want the deepest resource coverage, Infracost remains the specialist.

Question 2

How much does Infracost Cloud cost?

Accepted Answer

Infracost Cloud starts at $1,000/month for 10 seats, with additional seats at $50/month each. This covers cost estimation only. Terracotta AI covers cost estimation plus eleven other checks for $49/seat/month ($490/month for 10 seats), roughly half the price for twelve times the coverage.
